About Ruby
Hi, I'm Ruby.
I'm a 7-year Charleston resident with a background in marketing and sales. I've spent my career building relationships and taking care of people, whether that meant managing accounts or working in influencer marketing. Somewhere along the way, cooking became the thing I kept coming back to outside of work.
I've always loved to cook. There's something about being in the kitchen that I genuinely enjoy, whether I'm cooking for myself or for people I care about. For a while it was just something I did on the side, but I kept coming back to the idea of turning it into an actual career, so here we are!
Ruby's Table is family-style meals, made to share, nothing too fussy.
It's a bit of a new direction for me, but the instinct behind it isn't that different from the work I've always done: I just want to make food I love and have people enjoy it too.

Outside the kitchen you'll find me running around Charleston, hanging out with my friends (and cats!), or creating new recipes. Seven years in this city has shaped how I cook as much as anything I learned professionally — Charleston is a place built for gathering, and Ruby's Table is my way of joining that tradition.
I am so excited to begin this new journey and to share my love for cooking with more people!
